Full time / 10 months / 200 days
Start Date
This position is effective for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants for the 2025-2026 school year will also be considered.
- Hold or be eligible for an Earth Science Endorsement.
- Bachelor's degree in Earth Science, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience or strong interest in teaching AP Environmental Science.
- Background or willingness to integrate data science concepts into science instruction.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and instructional technology skills.

- Teach Earth Science and AP Environmental Science, incorporating real-world data analysis and problem-solving.
- Develop and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with state and AP curriculum standards.
- Utilize technology, data visualization, and lab investigations to enhance student understanding.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through project-based learning.
- Collaborate with the Data Science Lab School faculty to integrate data literacy and computational thinking into science instruction.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
