- Greet and welcome students and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out students efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to student or business inquiries
- Scheduling students for lessons and events in scheduling system
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Manage all student accounts and give clients a breakdown of their records and payments as requested
- Ordering, stocking, and inventory for the dance store
- Manage store sales including sizing for dance shoes
- Marketing and promoting dance store (run social media accounts, creating flyers, etc.)
- Reaching out to potential students to schedule introductory lessons
- Entering new student information in scheduling system
- Responding to emails from new and existing students in a timely and professional manner
- Making new student welcome packets and folders
- Decorating for upcoming studio events
- Keep work areas and store areas tidy and presentable at all times
- Preparing and sending quarterly invoices
- Basic Office Work (File organization, scanning documents, emails, etc.)
- Maintain an appropriate and efficient filing system
- Understand all studio events, promotions, and pricing with the ability to clearly explain to clients
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Personable
- Self-motivated
- Experience in the dance world is a plus but not required
- Organized
- A basic knowledge of Microsoft and Google platforms (Word, Excel, Google Drive)
- Able to work 1-10pm M-F (1 hr dinner break)
- Occasional weekends required for special events (roughly once per quarter)
