What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Frederick Elks Lodge #684?
The Frederick Elks Lodge is currently looking to hire a bartender/server part-time for a fast paced restaurant/bar environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take food and drink orders
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Clear and reset tables in dining room, and lounges
- Roll silverware, cut fruit, general bartender/server duties
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Knowledge of Tip Jar Tickets
Requirements:
- Must be able to work long periods of time in standing position
- Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing up to 15lbs
- Must be able to lift and change various size kegs weighing over 50lbs
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be able to work as a team player and help others when you can
- Knowledge of Point of Sale System
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to work independently when needed
Job Type: Part-time
