What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Frederick Fox?
This position will provide support to the customer, internal sales staff, and account managers on all Commercial Insurance business. The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current clients in order to aid in their success using our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.
Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain all customer information in AMS360 and paper files if applicable.
- Know the various company products, underwriting requirements, binding authority, policy forms, rating software programs (upload & download), and competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Assist other Commercial Account Manager’s as needed.
- Service all existing commercial lines accounts by :
- Answering coverage questions, recommending coverages, processing policy change information, taking claim information, collecting premiums, submitting the proper documents to the company, and verifying that documents received from company are correct
- Issuing the proper insurance verification documents to the insured (auto id, certificates, etc.)
- Resolving customer problems & complaints (with assistance / direction from manager or Account Executive as needed).
- Following up on policies that cancel.
- Assisting with the collection of premiums and reconciliation of accounts as needed.
- Market new and renewal business
- Complete submissions with guidance from AE or Producer. Present submissions to companies.
