- Must have Real Estate Investment Accounting experience (doing the corporate structure investment aspect of properties, NOT as a Property Accountant doing the day-to-day accounting for properties)
- Must be okay being on-site every day
Frederick Fox has partnered with an industry leading real estate investment firm (multi-family housing), in their search for a strong Account Manager. In this corporate accounting, real estate role, you will be working with the investment aspect of properties, working closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work papers for audits
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes.
- Reviews financial reports
- Review general ledger entries
- Ensure accounting compliance
- Assistant in the creation of internal controls and policies
- Assist with tax reporting
- Manage a team of 4, including hiring, and performance reviews
Required
- BS in Accounting/Finance
- 3 - 12 years' Accounting
- Public Accounting experience (including at least 1 busy season as a Sr.)
- 1 years’ Real Estate Accounting (doing the corporate structure investment aspect of properties, NOT as a Property Accountant doing the day to day accounting)
- Team Leadership experience
