The Director, HRIS will play a critical leadership role in establishing best practices, driving performance, and managing the Workday HRIS ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in shaping a high-performance culture, developing metrics-driven strategies, and aligning the HRIS team with the company's vision for exceptional technology support and data analytic
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic HRIS roadmap aligned with business growth.
- Optimize Workday modules (Payroll, Timekeeping, Learning – no ERP integration).
- Establish best practices, workflows, and automation to improve system efficiency.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to integrate HRIS functions.
- Build and lead a high-performing HRIS team (currently one analyst external consultant).
- Monitor KPIs, enhance data analytics, and drive employee self-service adoption.
- Serve as a Workday evangelist, ensuring usability and effectiveness across the company.
Qualifications
- 6 years of HRIS leadership experience, with a strong Workday background.
- Proven ability to scale teams and drive Workday transformations.
- Experience in multi-location, decentralized, or high-growth environments preferred.
- Strong data-driven approach with expertise in reporting and analytics.
- Ability to simplify HR tech for a blue-collar, non-technical workforce.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and change management skills.
