We have partnered with a Manufacturing client seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager to join our team on-site in Farmington, NM and lead the site location and oversee two staff. The role reports into corporate HR. The HR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the HR department and sits among the leadership team at a regional location. Duties includes creating, implementing, and enforcing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and overseeing recruitment and retention efforts.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Human Resources (HR) practices and principles
- Experience leading a company or business unit of $100M plus revenue
- Strong experience in HR management with a proven track record of success
- Union experience preferred
- Deep understanding of labor and employment law
- Experience in manufacturing preferred
- Ability to create and implement HR policies and procedures
- Experience in managing employee relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM certification is a plus
