We are seeking a Risk Manager to join our clients team in Leetsdale, PA. Reporting to the CFO, this role will play a critical part in developing and implementing risk strategies that align with the company’s financial goals. You will work closely with senior leadership to mitigate risks related to cash flow, credit exposure, investments, and financial forecasting while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and mitigate financial and operational risks, including cash flow, credit exposure, investment decisions, and forecasting.
- Monitor financial markets and economic conditions to evaluate potential business impacts.
- Recommend hedging strategies and financial instruments (futures, options, swaps) to mitigate risk exposure.
- Conduct risk evaluations for capital investments, mergers, acquisitions, and financial initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, industry-specific standards).
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, accounting, IT, supply chain) to ensure effective internal controls and address risk factors.
- Engage with IT and cybersecurity teams to manage financial risks related to data security and technology disruptions.
- Prepare and present detailed risk analysis reports to the CFO, finance team, and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in risk management, preferably with a focus on financial and operational risks.
- Experience with hedging practices and financial instruments for risk mitigation.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and enterprise risk management (ERM).
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills to assess and report on risk exposure.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to senior leadership.
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
