Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
About the Role
The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a key role in driving financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support business decision-making. This role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights that enhance financial performance, optimize resource allocation, and align with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
- Analyze key business drivers, trends, and financial metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management.
- Partner with various departments to assess financial impact and drive efficiencies.
- Support ad hoc analysis, scenario planning, and investment evaluations.
- Assist in variance analysis by comparing actual results to forecasts and identifying key areas of improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with expertise in Excel.
- Experience working with financial planning tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
