Frederick Living, part of Garden Spot Communities, is located in Zieglerville, PA (Montgomery County). We are a small, 32 bed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

As a Director of Campus Operations, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, empower employees to be effective as a team and to collaborate well with all departments.
- Understand and facilitate resident-centered management.
- Foster a culture of safety at all levels of living through effective risk prevention and management.
- Prepare and manage the annual department operational and capital budgets for the respective departments as directed by the Executive Director.
- Contribute expertise to various committees, taskforces, agencies and governing bodies.
- Coordinate the 24/7 on-call/on-duty employee schedules.
- Incorporate use of software programs as needed for work order management, budgeting, human resources, and operation of physical assets.
- Complete and vigilantly manage preventative maintenance programs for all physical assets.
- Oversee construction projects from formative to completion stages following up regularly to ensure coordination and compliance.
- Respond in a timely manner to all inspections, surveys and audits at all levels of the community.
- Implement a system for department audit and quality improvement.
- Abide by the organization's code of conduct in the performance of their duties.
What do I need for this role with Frederick Living?
- An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents
- At least 10 years' previous experience in maintenance/property management is required.
- Senior living or healthcare experience is preferred.
- A college degree is preferred.
