This position will provide support to the County Executive and develop and implement social media strategies for the Office of the County Executive. Supervision is received from the Chief of Staff. This position serves at the pleasure of the County Executive.
NOTE : The upper pay range reflects possible wage rates for internal County transfers and promotions. For transfers and promotions, wage rates are calculated per County policy.

Provide staff support to the County Executive at public events and manage associated follow-upAttend events and take photographs; edit images and archive for future projectsRepresent the County at meetings and conferences; provide reports on information and action items discussedDevelop and implement social media plans aligned with the County Executive’s prioritiesCreate engaging, high-quality content for the County Executive’s social media platformsWrite and edit content for different platforms such as social media, websites, blogs and social media for approvalCreate graphics and draft text for social media postsMonitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to expand the audienceAnalyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaignsPartner with the Office of Communications and Public Engagement on social media campaignsWork with the County Executive’s communications, community outreach, and legislative teams to develop outreach plansDraft correspondence, talking points, and other documents as neededOther duties as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
