Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a College & Career Counselor located in Fredericksburg, VA. The College & Career Counselor will be responsible for providing college application preparation and guidance, including scholarship and financial aid opportunities, hosting college & career fairs, career counseling, and coordinating college preparation courses and testing. The Counselor will also assist students in career development and guide them through the college admissions process.
Qualifications
- Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord and in regular attendance at an evangelic, protestant church
- Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling related-field
- Student Counseling skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and faculty
- Experience in educational or career counseling is a plus
