Requirements
- Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord and the Christian character qualities to serve as a role model for young people
- Regular in attendance at an evangelical Protestant church
- Commitment to a Biblical lifestyle
- Strong commitment to Christian education
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in related field, including education courses
- Committed to obtaining and keeping ACSI or state certification current according to FCS guidelines
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, grammar, and literature analysis.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional strategies and curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Provide tutoring support to students needing additional assistance outside of regular class hours.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
