Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and flexible Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in various educational settings and make a positive impact on students' learning experiences. Duties:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure continuity in instruction
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Implement literacy education techniques to enhance reading and writing skills
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques
- Work with students with autism or special education needs, providing necessary support and accommodations
- Provide childcare and supervision during recess, lunch breaks, and other non-instructional periods
- Offer tutoring or additional assistance to students who require extra support
Requirements:
- Regular attendance at a Protestant, Evangelical church
- Commitment to a Biblical lifestyle
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Experience working with students with autism or special education needs is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different educational settings
