Overview :
We are seeking a Fiduciary Administration Specialist to join our growing Trusts & Estates team. This role will involve assisting in all phases of estate and trust administration, including preparing tax returns and accountings, managing estate and trust administration tasks, and providing guidance in tax compliance matters. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Communicate directly with clients, brokers, bankers, accountants, court officials, and other parties.
- Obtain valuations and prepare inventories of estate assets.
- Manage and maintain accounts for trusts and estates, supervising the payment of debts, expenses, and distributions to beneficiaries, and ensuring proper recording of income received.
- Prepare and file estate tax returns on time, ensuring all necessary exhibits and attachments are included.
- Prepare summaries of income and deductions for estates, determine fiscal tax years, and file fiduciary income tax returns. Notify beneficiaries of tax information for their individual returns.
- Manage and prepare annual accounts and notices of right of withdrawal for trusts, along with other annual trust administration tasks.
- Prepare final accounts, distribution schedules, decrees, and documents to close estates, facilitating the distribution of assets according to the terms of estate planning documents.

The salary range for this position varies by geographic market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $40.00 - $48.00 / hour. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
