Quality Conservation Services (QCS) and its parent company, Free Energy Savings Company, provide free energy conservation improvements to qualified middle- and lower-income households in selected California communities under contracts funded by California utilities, such as PG&E Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESA).
We have an immediate opening for an Appointment Setter and Office Assistant to service our Cotati CA office. This position is a full-time position and requires excellent organization, self-motivation and excellent phone skills. Qualified individuals must have 2 years customer service experience making outbound calls to current and prospective customers, explaining program terms, and checking eligibility requirements of potential customers. Experience in scheduling/marketing for an electrical or heating and air-conditioning contractor is a plus.
**BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH REQUIRED**
There is NO SELLING INVOLVED. Our programs are offered to customers for free, there is never any cost to customers who qualify for our programs. Successful candidates often come from fields that use dispatchers and outbound call centers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Make outbound calls to secure customer appointments for Residential Battery Storage programs, coordinating with office staff in Cotati, CA, Concord, CA, and Montclair, CA.
- Update databases as needed.
- Create work reports for management as needed.
- Meet daily minimum production goals.
- Show up for work on time and daily.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to communicate well with customers seeking home and energy improvements.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of general office procedures, email, and data processing.
- Solid understanding of MS Word and Excel and/or Google Docs and Sheets.
- Ability to sit or stand at a computer and make calls for an extended period.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
