The Opportunity

We're looking for an up-and-coming Developer Relations specialist to help us better support our growing customer base and developer community. In this role, you'll take the lead in providing excellent developer support, creating helpful technical content, and showing the world how they can make the best use of Freeplay.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company at the intersection of generative AI and software development. You'll immerse yourself in the challenges and workflows of established product teams building with AI, and your work will directly shape how our customers interact with and succeed using Freeplay.

Your Mission

In this role, you'll lead three key initiatives to grow and support our developer customers and community :

  • Developer Support

Act as the first line of support for customers via Slack, email, and phone.

  • Triage, communicate, and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating to Engineering and PM as needed.
  • Ensure timely, empathetic, and constructive support that leaves customers feeling confident and supported.
  • Technical Content and Documentation
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical resources such as documentation, tutorials, sample notebooks, and integrations.

  • Design content that helps developers understand and adopt Freeplay quickly and effectively.
  • Developer Marketing
  • Craft engaging blog posts, videos, webinars, and other materials to demonstrate Freeplay's value and reach a wider audience.

  • Represent Freeplay at external events and online, building relationships and awareness.
  • Customer Solutions and Enablement
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique use cases, application architecture, and goals.

  • Provide guidance on how to integrate Freeplay into their workflows.
  • Develop custom demos, prototypes, or walkthroughs to showcase how Freeplay can address their specific needs.
  • About You

  • You have 2 years of experience as a developer or in a customer-facing technical role.
  • You're an exceptional communicator who can explain complex ideas simply and clearly.
  • You've been hands-on with generative AI or machine learning and understand the existing generative AI ecosystem.
  • You're organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
  • You have a natural curiosity and love learning new technologies and workflows.
  • You genuinely enjoy helping others succeed and thrive on solving problems for customers.
  • Bonus Points if You Have Some Of The Following

  • Experience creating technical tutorials, videos, or blog posts.
  • Previous work with developer tools or platforms.
  • Experience managing or participating in developer communities.

  • Location

    We have a preference for candidates available to work full-time on-site in Boulder, CO. However, we are open to considering exceptional remote candidates who can travel to Boulder every 6 weeks for team collaboration.
