What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Leader position at Free Spirit Yoga Ninja Play?
Join our team as a Youth Leader and positively impact children's lives through engaging in recreational activities at our family-friendly gym in the Old Mill District! We seek enthusiastic and responsible individuals passionate about working with families and children and creating a fun and safe environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach Kids Ninja Classes and Camps for families and kids ranging from ages 10 months - 13 years old (paid training provided)
- Implement behavior management techniques to ensure a positive and safe environment
- Cheerfully welcome and check-in adults, kids, and families into the gym at the front desk during open play and birthday parties
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all participants in the gym
- Converse and connect with kids and families answering any questions they may have both in-person and over the phone
- Sell services, snacks, drinks, and retail
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in behavior management, classroom management, special education, childcare, or related K-8 settings
- Ability to engage children in fitness activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First aid certification is preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
