Summary:
Successfully oversees the execution of marketing, design, and creative service operations for The Belfry Campus Store and Laurel Cottage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and coordinate compelling marketing and advertising for The Belfry Campus Store & Laurel Cottage through social media, e-mail, and local marketing & advertising.
Design merchandise for The Belfry, including but not limited to apparel, accessories, etc. Partner with The Belfry manager to develop plans for merchandise, including product selection and design. Attend vendor presentations and meetings as scheduled.
Ensure all products for sale at The Belfry are photographed for online display following established guidelines
Coordinate and execute marketing photo shoots for Belfry products utilizing on-campus resources
Assist in providing a quality shopping experience by working with customers in person, over the phone, and online, including operating point-of-sale system and working during special events
Recruit and supervise student interns as needed for assistance with photography and marketing tasks
Provide backup support to Laurel Cottage staff, primarily in administrative functions including guest communications
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- 2 years related experience, preferred
- Experienced in marketing and graphic design software including, but not limited to Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom as well as other programs in the Adobe Suite.
- Experienced in photography and photo editing
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from faculty, staff, and administrators.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate computer proficiency in the following areas: spreadsheet software, word processing software, presentation software, statistical software and other software that may increase productivity and efficiency. An individual must also demonstrate a willingness to learn and use new software related to functional responsibilities.
