Auto Shop Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to develop training programs for employees while effectively managing sales and inventory control.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop employees to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
• Conduct employee orientation and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers for pricing and terms to optimize cost efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors.
• Implement sales management strategies to achieve store goals and improve overall sales performance.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations to facilitate sales.
• Oversee the pricing of products to ensure competitiveness in the market.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a retail or shop environment.
