Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe is seeking a dynamic community marketer to join our team! This job territory would cover the southern territory of Monroe/Northeast Louisiana to the Southeast Arkansas.
Freedom Behavioral Hospital is a 42-bed acute care facility providing specialized care for adults with their mental health and behavioral health needs. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient care, as well as a variety of specialized programs and is a trusted resource for those seeking quality care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all aspects of education and customer service for referral sources in an assigned geographic area to grow and maintain the customer relationship.
- Acts as a liaison between the source and hospital to obtain information in determining admission eligibility for patient referrals.
- Collects information from referring professional or facilities then meets with potential patients and conducts pre-admission screenings.
- Communicates results of the prescreening process and recommendations to the patient/family and referral source per company policy.
- Clearly articulates the services Freedom Behavioral provides.
- Assists facilities and families with placement alternatives if ineligible for admission.
- Provides leadership, support and guidance to referral sources and community resources to ensure customer service expectations are met.
- Regularly markets our services to current and prospective sources through community education and established strategic marketing plans to meet Departmental goals.
- The ultimate goal of this position is to improve overall community life for all mental health patients referred to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing preferred, or Business Development
- Two years of experience in sales, preferably in a Healthcare or Medical service field
- Self-starter, goal oriented; capable of leading, directing, and supporting a team in a diverse environment with highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
- Must be able to relate professionally and positively with co-workers, staff and healthcare facilities utilizing excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and management skills.
- Travel is as required within the geographical assigned area, for account/facility visits and participation in Regional activities.
