Member Experience Coordinator
Location: Freedom Boat Club Michiana (All Locations)
Reports to: Administrator and General Manager
About the Role:
Freedom Boat Club Michiana is looking for a dynamic and service-driven Member Experience
Coordinator to be our valued members' key point of contact. In this role, you will lead new
members' onboarding and training, assist with billing and agreement updates and provide
exceptional customer service to ensure seamless member experiences. Your efforts will help foster
strong relationships, enhance member satisfaction and contribute to the club’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Onboarding & Training – Schedule and conduct training sessions for new members, ensuring they feel confident and prepared for their boating adventures.
- Customer Support – Handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Account Management – Process membership changes, update payment information and ensure accounts remain current and accurate.
- Billing Assistance – Address billing questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity.
- Problem Resolution – Manage and resolve member concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Collaboration – Work closely with team members across all locations, including Captains, to enhance member experiences.
- Process Improvement – Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding recurring issues and opportunities for enhancing member services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous customer service or related experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with computers and reservation systems
- Reliable transportation.
