Make a difference on the water (April-November):
As a Seasonal Training Captain, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the boating experiences of our members.
- Deliver comprehensive training: Bring our established and industry-leading training to life! From basic safety to advanced offshore maneuvers, our comprehensive curriculum caters to all experience levels, equipping our members for every adventure.
- Foster confidence and competence: Guide new members from diverse experience levels, empowering them to safely and confidently navigate the waters, ensuring their enjoyment and fostering a lifelong love of boating.
- Become an integral part of a vibrant team: Collaborate with fellow Captains and club staff to ensure seamless member experiences and contribute to the success of our prestigious MD locations.
- Collaborate and lead: Foster a positive and supportive environment for fellow captains and club staff, contributing to the seamless operation and success of our prestigious MD locations.

Qualifications to Set Sail:
- Valid US Coast Guard Captain's License (required)
- Must be 21 years or older
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
- Strong knowledge of boating safety and operation principles
- Effectively train and educate individuals
- Communicate clearly and build rapport to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain composure and navigate stressful situations calmly
- Present a professional image and adhere to high standards of personal presentation
- Demonstrate initiative and meticulous attention to detail
Thrill new boaters, earn top dollar, and soak up the sun! Guide eager learners through two transformative 2-hour sessions, blending classroom and hands-on experience.
