Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a RN Educator for our Licensed HomeCare team .
This is an on-site role that requires a regularly scheduled commute / travel to one of our locations in NYC, availability in any of the following locations : Bronx, Brooklyn, Jamaica (Queens), Manhattan and New Hyde Park (Long Island).
Department & Position Overview :
The RN Educator will be responsible for implementing and teaching a 40-hour Home Health Aide (HHA) course and an Advanced Care Directives (ACD) course. This role involves delivering high-quality education, ensuring that students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The RN Educator will also be responsible for evaluating student performance, maintaining educational standards, and staying current with industry best practices.
Every Day You Will :
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning and engagement
Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for students, ensuring that all course content is delivered effective
Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, practical evaluations, and assignments
Ensure that all training programs comply with state and federal regulations and industry standards
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and course evaluations
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with nursing education trends and practices.

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $90,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to : skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure / certifications.
