Freedom Classical Academy is a K-8 charter school specializing in a unique blend of STEM and classical education. Our middle school is structured differently from most middle schools. Students only have 2 main classes. One is a “STEM” class where they are taught science and math and the other is a humanities class where they are taught ELA and History. They also attend specials once a week. This has been a successful model that has allowed our middle schoolers to get the support they need to find great success and growth.
We are seeking an 8th Grade Algebra 1 / Science teacher to join us for the 2024-2025 school year.

FOUR DAY SCHOOL WEEK . Our Board of Directors and the state approved the move to a four-day school week for the 2024-25 school year. Our teachers will work Monday through Thursday except on weeks with a Monday holiday when they will work Tuesday through Friday. One Friday a month is also dedicated to professional development and PLC teams. This change has been made with the specific goal of helping our staff have better work / life balance. Responsibilities and Duties :
- Deliver fast-paced, engaging lessons in a direct instruction model.
- Maintain excellent classroom management.
- Communicate frequently with parents.
- Attend weekly PLC meetings and Staff Meetings.
- Participate in student pick-up or drop-off, as assigned.
