2nd Shift Production Supervisor:
2pm through 10pm
-$75,000 to $87,000 annually (depending on experience).
-up to $18,000 annual performance bonus
-Overtime as business need requires

Job Description:
- Primary production supervisor duties / responsibilities include:
- - following all safety rules and practices;
- - conducting safety training and performing safety observations;
- - leading manufacturing associates, and serving as coach and counselor regarding professional development and when situations arise that affect associates' job performance;
- - supervising manufacturing associates, including assigning work, monitoring the quality and quantity of production, and reviewing and approving production runs and quality records;
- - making decisions regarding the quality of materials and products;
- - establishing work practices, and training manufacturing associates;
- - purchasing materials, parts, and supplies as required;
- - conducting regular meetings with all associates to provide quality and performance feedback, address operating issues, provide training, and work on continuous improvement projects;
- - implementing quality improvement and cost reduction ideas;
- - organizing resources (crews / orders / tooling) for maximum productivity and throughput;
- - resolving issues that hinder production quality and quantity;
- - insuring that associates perform required inspections and tests;
- - insuring that equipment is cleaned and maintained;
- - maintaining teamwork with other associates;
- - maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;
- - monitoring compliance with environmental regulations and programs; and
- - performing other duties as assigned by the manufacturing manager.
- Qualifications for production supervisor are the ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation; knowledge and understanding of box-making processes; work experience in a manufacturing environment; the ability to read, write, and speak English; the ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
Salary : $75,000 - $87,000
