What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial Lineman position at Freedom Fusioning?
Will train lineman and need ground hands
Duties
-Experienced in bucket truck operation
-building strand, pole transfer, lashing, and de-lashing
- Reading and interpreting documents and build maps- Hang splice enclosures
- Utilize bucket trucks to access and work on telecommunication lines
- Operate bucket trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights or in hazardous environments, including using signs, cones, and other safety equipment while on work sites
- Lift and manipulate splice enclosures as well as other plant equipment
-Must provide timely reports to office team
Preferred skills but not required.
- Proficient in the operation of bucket trucks for accessing telecommunication lines and work at heights while maintaining safety standards
- Knowledge of telecommunications systems, including telephone networks and IT infrastructure
- Familiarity with low voltage cable installation, termination, and testing procedures
- Competency in using specialized equipment for fiber optic cable and coax installation
-Climb poles and necessary gear

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
