We're looking to add an experienced Web Printing Press Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up the press to run jobs using job instructions prepared specifically for each project
- Be responsible for maximizing productivity while maintaining a high level of quality in all printed materials produced on your press
- Running Heatset web offset presses
- Running Color
- Register on RGS and CCR Systems
- Setting up WPM and Baldwin rotary cutters
- Monitor the quality of the materials being produced
- Troubleshoot problems and make necessary corrections, involving a mechanic when necessary
- Communicates essential information regarding incomplete setups, potential problems, and other information pertinent to the job at shift change. Fills out all daily production and quality paperwork.
- Supervise the work of Press Helpers assigned to your press
