Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our standards of excellence. Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Restore and repair surfaces by plastering or drywall work as required.
• Utilize power tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and surface preparation.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Perform construction estimating to determine the materials needed for each job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project.

Skills

• Proficiency in residential painting techniques and methods.
• Experience with construction painting projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of caulking, plastering, and drywall
• Ability to use basic math for measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Competence in operating various power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
