Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscaping and groundskeeping. This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general landscaping duties such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape plans
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Dig trenches and install landscape features such as pathways and retaining walls
- Assist with tree care including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment effectively
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles for equipment maintenance
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with landscape design principles is a plus
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
