Freedom Mobility Center is a Durable Medical Equipment provider focused on Power Mobility and Complex Rehabilitation. Because of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented Medical Documentation Coordinator to join our team.

• Growth – In this role, you will be responsible for answering phone calls and assisting customers with the concerns of their mobility equipment and the process of obtaining medical equipment. Support our Assistive Technology Professionals and Mobility Consultants in gathering information and processing medical documentation for insurance submission of customized wheelchairs. Coordinating with third party payers and medical providers to ensure timely processing of insurance claims for benefits. Data entry of orders and deliveries for multiple team members within Freedom Mobility Center. Skill Set Needed:

• High School diploma/GED
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize throughout the workday.
• Must be able to multitask
• Must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and coworkers
• An understanding of health insurance and the prior authorization process
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic accounting practices & principles
• Ability to prioritize duties to meet sensitive deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Medical Coding
