Job Title: Assistant Manager of Operations
Location: Clarksville, TN
Operating Hours: MON - FRI 7am - 7pm and SAT 7am-3pm
Pay Range: Starts at $25 per hour during training (Salary range 60K-70K per year once training complete)
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager of Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the donor center, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining donor retention, and ensuring operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the donor center in the absence of the Center Manager.
- Become proficient in all areas of the donor collection process.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations regarding the quality and safety of products, donors, and employees.
- Collaborate with center leadership to develop action plans to maximize efficiency.
- Handle all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions, termination, and maintaining personnel records.
- Adjust inventory levels of all goods and supplies necessary for the operation of the donor center.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Work with the training department to ensure staff training is facilitated and training goals are met.
- Develop and implement donor recruitment advertising campaigns to improve production levels.
- Manage and develop talent within the donor center and participate in the selection of new staff.
- Provide timely feedback on performance and initiate disciplinary action when necessary.
- Evaluate and review center staff performance.
- Monitor and direct the performance of outside vendors.
- Maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
- Maintain open communication with management.
- Ensure confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions with donors, employees, and vendors.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory role, preferably in a regulated industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Science or Business Management preferred.
- Strong management and leadership experience.
- Excellent hiring and interviewing skills.
- Production and people-minded with great communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently and managing deadlines efficiently.
