Position Title: Driver

Department: Life Enrichment

Schedule: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Position Reports To: Life Enrichment Director

Pay Range: $16-$17 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Schedule: Full-time hours will vary between 9:00AM - 5:00PM

About this role: Responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Essential Job Functions

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off
  
  

bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.). * Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van. * Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance. * Clean and wash vehicle. * May perform housekeeping functions as directed. * Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy

License/Certification Or Other Special Requirements

• Must possess current and valid driver's license consistent with the requirements determined by size of
  
  

vehicle and laws of the state in which the driver is licensed * Preferred CDL endorsement required for 15 passengers or more * Must possess personal driving record consistent with the requirements of the Driver Selection Policy * Doctor's statement verifying free from communicable disease, if applicable to your state * Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
