Green Hills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Safety Officer to join our team! This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and employees, while protecting community property.
YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…
- Perform scheduled rounds both inside and outside the community buildings to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to all alarms and emergency calls. Perform first aid/CPR as necessary. Responsible for immediate notification of emergencies to appropriate personnel.
- Provide timely, accurate reports, including incident reports, safety inspections, repair and service requests, emergencies, and delivers report(s) to supervisor.
- Assist with special security needs as they arise involving employees, visitors, and other members of the community.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- Can follow written and oral instructions.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Have experience in security and/or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - preferred.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
