We are currently looking for a Chef de Cuisine. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of both American regional and international cuisines, with a demonstrated ability to assist in developing and executing diverse menus for event dining, catering, Ã la carte service, and buffet offerings.
Key responsibilities include providing leadership in the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, overseeing food ordering, assisting with all stages of special event planning, and ensuring that each dish leaving the kitchen meets high standards of presentation, quality, and proper portioning.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a fine dining environment within a hotel, restaurant, or private club. A culinary education is preferred, along with previous supervisory experience. The candidate must also possess the ability to plan and organize work efficiently, interpret instructions, and follow recipes. Microsoft Office proficient and the ability to utilize computerized inventory and ordering systems. Knowledge of nutrition, diet, and healthcare is a plus.
