We are currently seeking a hospitality minded part-time Wellness Coordinator. The Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for promoting, coordinating and directing the wellness program and center to the independent residents of Rolling Green Village.

We are currently seeking a hospitality minded part-time Wellness Coordinator. The Wellness Center Coordinator is responsible for promoting, coordinating and directing the wellness program and center to the independent residents of Rolling Green Village.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Promote the wellness program to the independent residents. Be visible to and get to know the IL residents and encourage their participation in physical wellness.
- Be available for personal assistance in the center as needed.
- Offer various appropriate group classes throughout the week.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and is safe for use.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and entire center.
- Maintain pertinent personal and medical clearance forms for each individual.
- Maintain a daily registration log for participants
- Develop and coordinate special programs on a regular basis to encourage participation in physical wellness. Shuffle board tournament, walking club, putting/chipping tournaments, etc.
- Develop and coordinate programs to encourage RGV employees to participate in physical wellness activities.
- Work with the therapy department for those IL residents who have been in therapy care.
- College degree (preferred) in related field, with experience in geriatrics, physical fitness, wellness, recreation, education or social administration.
- (Preferred) personal training certification.
- Two years of appropriate professional experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English and perform simple arithmetic.
- Excellent computer skills with creative and administrative abilities.
