This position is responsible for transporting residents to medical appointments and monthly outings, in charge of scheduling all residents in HC and AL, updating and maintaining schedule book as needed; fueling van, and doing all housekeeping duties in van to make sure it is a clean and safe environment for our residents. This position requires the applicant be a Certified Nurse Aide, and will function as a CNA on the floor with set duties in between appointments.Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a CNA Van Driver :
- Drive van on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Maintain and update schedule book.
- Take residents to medical appointments and outings.
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus / van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load purchased items into van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
- When no appointments, will work in HC as a CNA and complete other duties as assigned.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have :
- High school diploma or GED required
- Have a Certified Nurse License in the State of Texas
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus / van driver required
- Active Driver License and clear driving recordMany roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
