Freedom Preparatory Academy, an accredited K-12 Public Charter School, is seeking enthusiastic and professional part-time Athletic Coaches to work at our 6-12 Provo campus. These positions provide a unique opportunity to work with young student-athletes in a positive, character-building environment that reflects the mission and values of Freedom Prep.
Athletic Coaches are leaders and role models who inspire and guide students through sports and physical education activities. Candidates must maintain a professional and positive demeanor, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and be committed to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth in our students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coaching experience and/or experience working with middle school or high school students is highly desirable.
CPR/First Aid Certified
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills and qualities:
Leadership and team-building skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Patience and enthusiasm for working with children
Organizational and time-management skills
Understanding of physical education standards and age-appropriate instruction
Basic first aid knowledge
Ability to complete the required certifications upon request
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning and conducting sports practices
Supervising students during practices and games
Teaching fundamentals of various sports and physical fitness
Promoting a safe, respectful, and fun environment
Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Managing equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Supporting the mission and policies of Freedom Preparatory Academy
