We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as the Clinical Director of a well-established medically and clinically monitored residential substance abuse and behavioral health treatment facility. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing clinical teams and programs focused on substance abuse and behavioral health, with extensive expertise in substance abuse intervention. This position offers a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to play a pivotal role in our treatment team, enhancing the delivery of exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Director include, but are not limited to the following :
Program Management :
- Oversee the clinical functions of the SUD treatment program.
- Develop and implement new programs and services in alignment with organizational goals.
Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and CARF Accreditation standards.Stay up to date with the most recent clinical requirements per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).Regularly review and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance.Program Marketing :
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote substance abuse programs.Build and maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources.Staff Supervision and Development :
Supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support.Review and sign required clinical documentation.Conduct performance reviews and professional development for clinical staff.Recruit, hire, and train new staff members.Policy and Procedure Evaluation :
Evaluate and develop program policies and procedures.Implement improvements based on feedback and best practices.Client Assessments and Group Facilitation :
Conduct individual client assessments to determine treatment needs and progress.Occasionally facilitate process groups to support client recovery.Service Coordination and Evaluation :
Coordinate all program services to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.Budget Management :
Collaborate with the Administrator to develop and manage the clinical program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.Crisis Intervention :
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.Develop and implement crisis management protocols.Quality Assurance :
Implement quality assurance measures to ensure high standards of care.Monitor and evaluate service delivery to identify areas for improvement.Client and Family Engagement :
Engage with clients and their families to provide education and support.Encourage family therapy sessions when necessary to enhance treatment outcomes.Ensure client-centered care and uphold client confidentiality.Community Outreach :
Represent the organization at community events and meetings.Advocate for substance abuse treatment services and resources.Reporting and Documentation :
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client and program activities.Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.Job Type : Full-time
