*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate, already certified Counselor-in-training who will work under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Director. This person will support clients in various settings, including group and individual sessions in outpatient and inpatient environments. *Duties*
- Assist licensed counselors in providing therapeutic support to client.
- Participate in group therapy sessions, including therapeutic activities, to promote emotional expression and healing.
- Research best practices in behavioral therapy to enhance service delivery.
- Support clients during individual counseling sessions by preparing materials and facilitating activities.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records as required by organizational policies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
*Experience*
- Previous experience or coursework related to behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling.
- A strong desire to learn about various therapeutic modalities, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
