Evening SUD Group Facilitator

We are a faith-based substance abuse treatment facility committed to helping individuals overcome addiction and find lasting recovery. We offer Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) services in a compassionate and supportive environment. Currently, we are seeking a CDCA with experience in group facilitation to join our team as an evening group facilitator, with the ability to support evening groups at Columbus location.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and co-facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on relapse prevention, coping skills, and spiritual growth
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in substance abuse treatment

Qualifications:

• Valid CDCA to practice in the state of Ohio
• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions in a substance abuse treatment setting
• Strong knowledge of addiction and recovery principles, including evidence-based treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
• Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with individuals struggling with addiction
• Familiarity with faith-based approaches to recovery is preferred
• Understanding of ethical and legal standards related to substance abuse treatment and client confidentiality
