Freedom Square of Seminole is looking for an Assistant Dining Room Manager for Independent Living. The Assistant Dining Room Manager is responsible for assisting the Dining Room Manager with the planning, organizing, directing and coordinating of all dining room activities. Ensures efficient operation of department, staffing, training, and scheduling employees. Checks deliveries and provides coverage for any are/server station in the absence of scheduled dining room staff. Ensure that courteous and efficient services are delivered. Provides a quality service which exceeds the residents/guests' expectations and Community standards.

Duties :
- In the absence of the Dining Room Manager, supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including table pedestals, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes, and lighting.
- Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.
- Assists the Dining Room Manager on all shifts, staffing, and scheduling.
- Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met.
- Records meal counts, reservations and additional charges.
- Confers with Dining Room Manager regarding dining room status.
- Waits table and takes orders as needed.
Qualifications :
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- 2 years supervisory experience within similar setting preferred but not required.
- Well Organized
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays,
- Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize, with, work with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors and subordinates.
