We are seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with up to 2 days of telework per week! Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. As soon as an employee enters a customer facility, they touch one of these applications which are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and deployment of systems, focusing on learning and working with PEGA and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, helping shape system configurations and integrations.
- Learn how to configure and modernize PEGA services to ensure they align with business needs and provide optimal user experiences.
- Assist in testing solutions to validate functionality, performance, and compatibility, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, providing technical support to internal teams and end-users.
- Contribute to the upgrade process, including bug fixes and code enhancements, to improve overall system functionality.
- Address and resolve customer issues through support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in unit testing and other quality assurance activities to ensure that developed software is reliable and functions as intended.
- Work in an agile environment, proactively contributing to team success by tackling new challenges and learning from more experienced team members.
- Exposure to a tech stack including Pega, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, ElasticSearch, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, Oracle/Postgres, Kafka, and Hazelcast.
- A strong willingness to learn about application development using COTS products and integrations, particularly with PEGA services.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential system issues.
- Enthusiasm for tackling new challenges while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering. Seven (7) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Experience with any of the following technologies Java, Django, ReactJS
- Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment including AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Docker for containerization
- Familiarity with the CI/CD
- Willingness to get relevant Pega certification

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
