Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. • The candidate must be a strong systems engineer that has experience working on a software development team with diverse skillsets.
• This individual must be willing to tackle challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.
• Primary responsibilities will be working with the Lead Developer, Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitating agile processes, communicating with team members, the Government and end user customers.
• The individual will need to work with the technical team and Government leadership to prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks and communicate with Freedom Program Management team.
  
  

Required:

• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twenty (20) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Twenty (25) years' SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
• Experience with requirements management to include working with customers to capture clear definition of done.

• Experience executing test procedures
• Experience managing systems in virtual environments such as AWS
• Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & Managing Jira
• Experience providing system administration support in Windows and Linux environments

The estimated salary range for this position is between $200,000-$265,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual's education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
