THE POSITION
The Senior Accountant is a critical new position and will report to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer. This person will help to increase the capacity of both the operational and grantmaking functions at the organization by paying attention to detail and assisting with complex reporting requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Preparation and input of budgeted revenue / expense to actual revenue / expense comparison, and analysis
- Preparation / review of departmental expense allocations
- Preparation of inter-company expense allocation
Auditing and Compliance
Providing Support
Communication and Confidentiality

SALARY & BENEFITS
This is a full time, exempt position. Freedom Together deeply values fair and equitable wages that enables people to thrive. The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. Freedom Together is based in Manhattan, NY and operates on a hybrid schedule. Staff work from the office 3 days weekly, with the flexibility to work remotely two days weekly.
