Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to oversee the nursing care and management of our residents on weekends.
About the Job:
- Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
- Administer direct care as necessary.
- Giving and receiving shift reports is a key responsibility.
- The successful candidate will ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment by rounding twice a shift.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all care rendered is also crucial.
- The ability to interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services is required.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a current license in Pennsylvania.
- At least 1 year experience in geriatric nursing Long Term Care (LTC) is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is mandatory.
- A basic computer proficiency is essential.
- The ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors is vital.
