Join us as we strive to bring a "WOW" customer experience to our residents every day here at Freedom Village. We are looking for a hardworking, creative and energetic leader that is inspired by helping people, to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department in our Healthcare Center.
The Director of Dietary is responsible for the entire process of acquisition, storage, preparation and serving food in accordance with applicable regulations (including California Title 22) and policies. This position directs and coordinates dietary department staff and activities by performing the following duties.
Oversee the nutritional needs of all residents
Works with the interdisciplinary team to accurately assess residents and develop appropriate care plans. Quarterly reviews resident care plans. Attends and participates in quality assurance meetings.
Participate in all interdisciplinary team care conferences
Participate during meals to ensure tray service is accurate
Visit residents in their rooms
Complete required documentation timely
Maintains current knowledge of federal and state regulations
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 4 plus years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in skilled nursing, hospital and or healthcare. Certified Dietary Manager credentials required.
Pay range: $70,000-$80,000 per year
