Our Skilled Nursing is currently hiring a Director of Staff Development, IP
Freedom Village Healthcare Center is a 52 -bed skilled nursing community in Lake Forest. Our most important asset is our long standing, dedicated team of compassionate staff members. Our community is seeking an experienced RN (preferred) or LVN, to direct and implement our staff orientation, education, training, and infection control programs. The Staff Developer is responsible for maintaining current license/certification for all appropriate staff. The
Staff Developer conducts in-service
and periodic Infection Control training for Independent Living, Assisted
Living, and other non-nursing staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified candidate will have 4 years' experience in staff development and strong communication skills. CA license as an LVN
- Certified Infection Preventionist
- This position calls for someone who is energetic, people person, organized and is passionate about providing only the highest quality of service to our residents and staff
Responsibilities:
- Understands how to positively influence and motivate staff
- Ability to work on multiple projects in the same time frame within a busy environment
- Incorporates education and clinical
- Communicates professionally
- Knowledgeable in Title 22 state regulations
Salary range:
Salary: $80,000 - $94,000 depending on experience
*Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, background check, physical exam, TB, drug screen. Covid 19 vaccination preferred.
