What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Cost Analysis position at Freedom Waterworks?
Key Responsibilities
- Review of order package from Sales for completeness and accuracy
- Tracking of open orders and weekly projections
- Recommend changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
- Aid in annual external audit requests
- Develop and maintain reporting tools for KPIs associated with our strategic plan
- Responsible for product cost analysis, identifying errors and opportunities, preparing reports, and communicating with various departments within the company
- Liaise with Operations, Estimating and Project Management teams
- Assist with and/or lead ad hoc projects
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Business Central experience
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with Excel Programming (VBA)
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and general ledger transactions
- Ability to make judgment calls within given guidance
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 3 years of experience in related role
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
