Position Summary
We are seeking an inspiring and results-driven Regional Operations Manager to lead and mentor a cross-functional team responsible for the warehousing, delivery, and installation (WD&I) of commercial furniture. This role requires a leader who can foster collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment between operations, sales, and design teams to deliver seamless, client-focused solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, cultivate a culture of accountability, and excel in project management. They will be instrumental in empowering their team to achieve operational goals while maintaining open communication and cooperation with sales and design teams to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Team Mentorship
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across warehouse, delivery, and installation operations.
- Develop team members through ongoing training, feedback, and growth opportunities.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability by setting clear performance expectations and holding team members responsible for results.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration·
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Partner with the design department to align operational plans with layouts, floor plans, and project specifications.
- Communicate project updates and feedback to sales and design teams to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between operations and other departments to anticipate and resolve potential conflicts or challenges.
3. Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, seamless delivery processes, and accurate installations.
- Implement and maintain workflows that optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to exceed operational goals.
- Foster a safety-first environment by ensuring compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards.
4. Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Communicate project progress clearly to stakeholders and clients, building trust and transparency.
5. Client and Stakeholder Engagement·
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and accountability.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure layout accuracy.
- Address client concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction at every stage of the process.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to align goals and deliver exceptional results.
6. Continuous Improvement and Accountability·
- Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and morale.

Qualifications
Education and Experience·
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience·
- 5 years of experience in construction, warehouse, operations or project management, with a proven track record of leading successful teams. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the commercial furniture industry or a related field is highly desirable, but not a requirement.
